Les Platanes
Located in the heart of the village of Vertrieu, near ViaRhôna, the restaurant-bar Les Platanes invites you to a friendly break in an authentic and warm atmosphere.
A complete set menu (starter, main course, dessert) is offered daily, with the option to take it away and enjoy the Jardin des Simples, located right next to the restaurant. A vegetarian option can be prepared upon request.
Every Thursday, guests can enjoy a themed menu inspired by world cuisine and revisited in the style of Sylvie, the owner.
The restaurant has a small room, a veranda and, when the weather is nice, a shaded terrace under the plane trees, perfect for enjoying the privileged setting of the village.
Awarded the Accueil Vélo label, the Les Platanes restaurant is ideal for a stopover when travelling along the ViaRhôna cycle route. Numerous dedicated services are offered on site.
A true hub of village life, this establishment also provides tourist information where visitors can find out about discovering Vertrieu and its surroundings.

Awarded the Accueil Vélo label, the Les Platanes restaurant provides a practical and reassuring stop for cycle tourists travelling on the ViaRhôna.
Cyclists can recharge the batteries of their electric bikes and have a repair kit to deal with minor breakdowns.
The municipality of Vertrieu has also equipped itself with secure lockers and a mini bike repair station, allowing cyclists to park their equipment and carry out basic adjustments or repairs independently.
Bicycle parking racks have also been installed in the village.
The restaurant offers an evening service from Monday to Thursday with a set menu at €20 (hot or cold depending on the weather) consisting of a salad, a meat dish with vegetables, a dessert and a glass of wine.
A sharing platter option may also be offered.
Please note that advance booking is essential (until 18:30 pm on the day). Service is provided until 20:30 pm.
After exploring the village of Vertrieu, enjoy a gourmet break in the late afternoon.
Enjoy a selection of artisanal ice creams in small pots offered at the price of €3,50.
Several flavors are available: vanilla, salted caramel, lemon and raspberry.
