From the Vallée Bleue, you leave ViaRôna towards the Vicat cement factory and the medieval site of Quirieu.
Cross the Rhône at the Briord bridge and take the old tarmac towpath on the right bank and follow the river to the Point Vert leisure center.
From there, two choices are available to you: follow the Rhône along the cycle path or take the motorized paths of the site of the ancient meanders of the Rhône in Serrières.
A detour of 5-6km via the millstone quarries (former exploitation of Villebois limestone) is possible.
After the 100% renewable energy production field, cross the Villebois dam and take a break to discover the artificial river of Isle de la Serre, an essential meeting place for fans of white water activities.
Then take ViaRhôna and go up the Rhône along an old railway line.
The return to the Vallée Bleue is done with a clear view of the Bugey massif.
