Couvent des Ursulines et Brasserie des Ursulines

In 1633, six nuns from Bourg-en-Bresse, of the teaching order of the Ursulines, founded this convent. They occupied vast buildings which currently house an artisanal beer factory.
During the Revolution, this building was ceded to the State. The Ursulines will return in 1919 and will settle opposite the left side of the street going up to the former Hôtel du Conte Dubourg. They will be in charge of a boarding school for young girls. This former private mansion whose sober and even austere architecture is typical of the 17th century. It is occupied nowadays by housing.
