Tignieu-Jameyzieu

Welcome to Tignieu-Jameyzieu to the west of the Balcons du Dauphiné. Discover the town notably through the Saint-Antoine church, the Sensitive Natural Space of the Marais de la Léchère, but also the now unmissable second-hand dealers' village!
1. Tignieu-Jameyzieu and its heritage

– Saint-Antoine church: although its origins date back to 1350, this church underwent a radical transformation at the end of the XNUMXth century to make way for a new construction oriented differently. The result is a remarkable church with a monumental clock and an interior decorated with paintings.

– The 7 mission crosses: scattered throughout the town, these crosses commemorate Catholic missions.

2. Tignieu-Jameyzieu, nature side with the Sensitive Natural Area of the Marais de la Léchère*

The Léchère marsh is one of the last bastions of wetlands in eastern Lyon. A natural refuge for a variety of plant and animal species. Follow the 1,2 km thematic trail (approximately 1 hour) to explore this preserved sanctuary without disturbing its inhabitants. For an even more enriching experience, be sure to purchase the educational booklet**.

3. Tignieu-Jameyzieu never stops surprising you!

– The second-hand dealers’ village (open from Friday to Sunday) is an unusual village built from containers, like a miniature town dedicated to second-hand goods where each second-hand dealer has personalized his or her space. You will also find a catering offer on site at the B'Rock café.

– A rich cultural program: go to the Tignieu-Jameyzieu city website to discover the shows not to be missed at the Le Triolet hall (www.tignieu-jameyzieu.fr).
