Balade pédestre en famille dans la réserve naturelle régionale des étangs de Mépieu

à Creys-Mépieu

Discover the Mépieu Ponds Regional Nature Reserve with your family thanks to this walking loop marked with 8 educational stations.
Armed with your booklet, you can learn more about this place, home to rare and varied biodiversity.

This marked trail invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of a protected natural site, nestled on the Isle-Crémieu plateau, a true mosaic of environments: ponds, woods, meadows, peat bogs and dry lawns.

Along the way, 8 observation stations allow you to learn more about the ecosystems and the emblematic species that live there: the European pond turtle, the tree frog, wild orchids, not forgetting the many birds such as the purple heron or the great crested grebe.

A perfect trail to raise awareness among young and old about local biodiversity and wetland preservation, in a peaceful, green setting. A nature outing not to be missed at the Balcons du Dauphiné!
