This activity, a modern-day treasure hunt, involves using a GPS or smartphone to search for a container (called a “cache” or “geocache”) in various locations. A typical geocache consists of a small waterproof and durable container including a log of visits and one or more “treasures”, generally worthless trinkets that can be exchanged.

How to play ? just register on the website https://www.geocaching.com/, it's free. You can then download the coordinates of the caches to your device and set off on an adventure towards your future treasures, sign your visit in the booklet then record it on the site. And when you reach the end of the course, a bonus cache will reward you.
