Parcours d'orientation de l'étang de Lemps

You will be able to discover there in a privileged way the aquatic life, a panorama to discover the landscape and an observatory.
At the heart of Isle Crémieu hides the pond of Lemps, particularly representative of the wetlands of North Isère.
Covering an area of 23 hectares, the site extends over two communes, Optevoz and Saint-Baudille-de-la-Tour.

Little modified since the 18th century, it is home to a varied fauna, particularly birds, dragonflies and butterflies as well as very rich flora.
Among the 283 plant species inventoried, we find orchids, water bowls, snake tongues, amella asters...

With a little patience, you may also be lucky enough to spot animals such as a little bittern, a tree frog, a turdoid warbler or even the coppery marsh butterfly.
Visitor alert

Be discreet, you evolve in a natural environment in contact with remarkable fauna and flora.
Stay on the route, do not cut through fields.
