Pêche à l'étang du Marais de Lancin

Located in the town of Courtenay, this pond is part of a vast network of ponds, a network which extends over approximately 3,5 km from south to north. The pond is registered in the Natura 2000 network.

Located in the immediate vicinity of the Serre ponds, the Lancin marsh pond is bordered by the Via-Rhôna.

It is a pond intended above all for the practice of fishing activity. Night fishing is permitted on this site.

– Fishing is authorized to all holders of a fishing license valid for the current year (annual, vacation or daily license);
– Fishing can only be done from the edge of the pond;

– Restrictions exist:
– 3 rods are authorized per person, casting fishing is prohibited while the pike is closed;
– Night fishing, only for carp, is authorized in No Kill all year round;
– Authorization to keep 2 carp per day. Carp weighing less than 1 kg must be released;
– Authorization to keep 1 pike per day (size 60 cm);
– Baiting is tolerated in small quantities at the time of fishing;
– Ban on fishing from a boat.
– Swimming, boat fishing, camping and caravanning are prohibited.

Several fishing stations are accessible to people with disabilities (with assistance).
