From the “Morestel” post, continue to the right in the direction of “Montain”. Cross the roundabout, then continue to the right taking the cycle path to a second roundabout. Continue to the left in the rue de la Rivoirette passing in front of the old stronghold of Balmettes. From there, continue straight ahead to reach the hamlet of Montain. At the “Mountain” post, take the track to the left. After 800 m, the path joins the pond of Levaz. Pass it and turn right on the grassy track. After one kilometer, cross the road and continue opposite on the road on the edge of the forest. Arrived at the houses, continue opposite to the first intersection then, at the second, continue opposite to the rise on the way of the tower. Arrived at the “Lordan” post, continue on the track to “La tour de Charray”. At the crossroads, turn right towards “Le Vieux Château”. At the houses, continue to the right crossing the hamlet, then continue to the right at the intersection to the road to Morestel. Take it to the right for 100 m, then continue opposite on the track. Stay on the main path which bypasses the houses to reach the “Le Vieux Château” post. At the crossroads, continue to the right on the track. Arrived at the houses, take the road to the right downhill to the post "Mountain". From there, the return is made by the same route as the outward journey.
