Espace Eau Vive is a sports center dedicated to whitewater activities: rafting, hydrospeeding, kayaking, canorafting, packrafting… On a safe, artificial river, accessible to all levels. Ideal for beginners, those looking to improve their skills, or simply having fun outdoors.
Espace Eau Vive is a sports and leisure center entirely dedicated to whitewater activities. Located on a 600m long artificial river, it offers a safe and perfectly suited environment for discovering, practicing or improving your skills in kayaking, hydrospeeding, rafting, canorafting or packrafting.
This whitewater course recreates a series of more or less technical sections: roller, surf wave, tie rock, weeping rock, smooth wave.
Its major advantages:
– Its S-shaped route which reduces portages
– Its water quality (located upstream of the greater Lyon metropolis).
Permanently, 140 gates adjustable from the edge and colors to imagine a maximum of routes and facilitate the work of the trainers.
Designed to welcome both beginners and experienced athletes, the site offers a varied, fun, and progressive course, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace under the guidance of qualified professionals. Clubs, schools, families, groups, and individuals will find it an ideal place to experience thrills in complete safety.
On site, the base also features a nature campsite, group accommodation, a free-access bike park, and a large marquee for shelter. A friendly place, surrounded by greenery, to practice, share, and enjoy a true outdoor experience.
Regardless of the activity, the minimum height requirement is 140 cm and the minimum weight requirement is 40 kg. Minimum age requirements vary depending on the activity.
No noise pollution is tolerated on the site (campsite, gîte).
The Rhone is sometimes in flood. The service provider may be required to cancel or postpone activities for safety reasons.
Labeled Accueil Vélo, this leisure site provides numerous dedicated facilities: an inflation station, a totem with repair tools as well as secure boxes for parking bicycles.
