Compliance with the Local Urban Planning Plan (PLU) to open unusual accommodation
Whether you are a professional or an individual, to be able to install unusual accommodation, it must be included in the PLU (Local Urban Planning Plan) established by the town hall and may therefore be subject to planning permission. The first step is therefore to go to the town hall concerned by the project to study the feasibility of the project.
The classification of unusual accommodation
There is no classification of unusual accommodation.
The tourist tax
Unusual accommodation is also subject to tourist tax.
In the absence of classification, the proportional rate applies.
The amount of tourist tax to be collected from the occupants of the accommodation corresponds to the product of the number of nights spent by this variable rate which is a function of:
- of the price of accommodation,
- of the number of occupants,
- of the percentage fixed by deliberation.
The proportional tax rate corresponds to 5,00% of the cost excluding tax of the night (1), capped at €3,64 + additional tax of 10% established for the benefit of the Isère departmental council.
(1) Cost excluding tax of the night = Price of accommodation excluding tax for the stay / Number of nights of the stay / Number of occupants
