Open-air exhibition of paintings from the Maison Ravier exhibition 'The Lyon School in the Feminine' on little-known female artists of the 19th and 20th centuries.
In the spring of 2026, the Maison Ravier museum in Morestel organized the exhibition "The Lyon School in the Feminine". It brought together nearly seventy female artists, painters, who had made their careers in Lyon, an artistic epicenter in the 19th and 20th centuries.
But many have fallen into oblivion and if their names are less known today, or even unknown, it is not for lack of talent or insufficient productions, but because of profoundly unequal conditions of learning, working and recognition.
In the heart of the medieval town of Quirieu, discover a selection of this exhibition.
