Exposition à la Maison Ravier : l'école lyonnaise au féminin

This year, the new temporary exhibition at Maison Ravier is highlighting female artists who were very active between the 19th and 20th centuries, but many of whom have been forgotten.
For over 30 years, Maison Ravier has celebrated the artists who have contributed to the renown of our region. This new exhibition is dedicated to women artists. While not exhaustive, it brings together more than 70 paintings as well as sculptures, and sheds light on the difficulties that marked these artists' careers, as well as their successes.
Maison Ravier actively contributes to enriching the Ville Fleurie label's charter. Its guided bike tour, readings dedicated to nature inspiring painters, the installation of its five beehives, the nesting boxes on the terrace, and its participation in the Rendez-vous aux jardins event all contribute to raising awareness about nature conservation.
The Maison Ravier has been awarded the Accueil Vélo (Cycle Welcome) label. It has all the necessary equipment for cycle tourists (secure storage, racks, etc.) visiting the museum.
The Maison Ravier is a municipal museum that permanently displays works by the painter and his contemporaries. The museum also hosts two temporary exhibitions during its opening season.
