Painters' competition, open to all amateur artists, proposed by the City's Culture Commission. If you are at least twelve years old, and if you wish to exercise your passion with your brush and your inspiration in places full of charm, we invite you to participate in this competition. Morestel's privileged relationship with art in general and painting in particular no longer needs to be demonstrated. François Auguste Ravier, a 19th century impressionist painter, fell under the spell of Morestel and painted different places, calling it the “Land of fine golden light”.
