La Maison forte de Courtenay

Located on the borders of Dauphiné and historical Savoy, this property is one of the many fortified houses that once ensured the defense of the territory, of which more than a hundred have been listed.
Carefully restored with respect for its architectural identity, it now reveals three guest rooms with refined and minimalist decor, where the charm of old stones blends harmoniously with contemporary comfort.

The "Feathers" room offers two 90 × 200 cm beds, which can be made into a king size 180 × 200 cm bed, as well as a fireplace, a desk and a private bathroom with toilet.

The family suite features a spacious living room with a piano, a fireplace, and a sofa bed. The adjoining bedroom has a 160cm double bed and a sofa bed providing additional sleeping space.
A private bathroom with a walk-in shower completes the package.

Located under the roof, the attic room is enhanced by a remarkable exposed timber frame which once supported a slate roof.
Located on the third floor, it includes a 180cm double bed, a 90cm extra bed and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.

Every morning, the owners serve a homemade breakfast in the dining room or on the terrace when the weather permits.
