Horia and Francis, professional decorators, have focused on blending the past, present and future in this magnificent 17th century residence, located on the banks of the Rhone. Each of the five rooms welcomes you in unique decors and themes.
Le Relais du Destin is a charming Dauphinoise residence dating from 1680, called "petit château de Vertrieu". Close to the Via Rhona, the address is perfect for a cycle touring stop, in the charming village of Vertrieu.
The house offers 5 guest rooms but also 2 furnished apartments. The caders is very relaxing with the view of the Bugey mountains, a park of more than 8000 m² with direct access to the Rhône, all in absolute calm.
The owners' trades and many trips have influenced the atmosphere. A cocooning atmosphere dominates, while remaining functional with materials mainly made in France and high-end Oekotex-made linen. Decorative objects, paintings and sculptures are by well-known artists with a rating that is regularly rising. All decorative objects and the majority of paintings or sculptures are for sale, which allows customers to appreciate the pieces in a real context and to be able to imagine them in their interior.
