As part of a series of cultural events for the general public, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, an aging Russian director, a darling of international critics, is entrusted with a local amateur troupe to stage his latest play, which he himself wrote. The public will witness three days of open rehearsals of this piece, rehearsals that interweave scenes from the play with moments shared between the actors.
Stories of love and heartbreak intertwine in an awkward comedy that veers into drama. Laughter and emotion follow one another throughout the performance.
