Set off through the narrow streets of the town of Crémieu, to discover a rich preserved medieval architectural and historical heritage: the convent complex of the Augustins, the houses with stalls... and the highlight is its famous XNUMXth century hall.
After a general presentation allowing to restore the birth of Crémieu and its evolution, you will discover in turn the urban, military and religious heritage of the city. After the Porte de la Loi, you will reach the convent complex of the Augustins housing the current town hall. You will also discover the paintings of the church, a unique set of Augustinian paintings in France. Then after a stroll through the alleys of the city which will be a pretext to admire the City Gates, the old convents, the winegrowers' houses or other atypical constructions, you will arrive in the medieval hall. This listed monument is one of the largest halls in France. She will reveal all her secrets to you and this will be an opportunity once again to evoke the commercial past of Crémieu.
