Follow the guide and discover the abbey of Saint Chef, its chapel of angels covered with Romanesque frescoes from the XNUMXth century. You will also discover the museum, an essential place to understand the history and influence of the site.

The permanent exhibition presents, using models, multimedia terminals and films, the history of the abbey and offers an interpretation of the Chapel of the Angels, classified as a Historic Monument, one of the richest testimonies of Romanesque art in France. It also takes a look at the Dauphiné traditions such as the vine, the adobe architecture, the patois. Such an attraction did not leave indifferent some children of the country: the writer Marius Riollet, the actor Louis Seigner and the father of San-Antonio, Frédéric Dard.
Moreover, the heritage house pays a very beautiful tribute in the last room of the museum through an interactive terminal and the first public collection of the works of Frédéric Dard.
