Espace Naturel Sensible Marais de la Léchère

The Léchère marsh is one of the last major wetlands in the east of Lyon. It is a privileged refuge for many plant and animal species. A thematic trail allows you to go around without disturbing the species present.
The marsh is made up of a mosaic of environments including the cladiaie, wet meadows as well as woods of willows and ash trees sheltering a characteristic protected flora such as marsh spurge or marsh Peucédan.
The ponds are a breeding ground for many animal species such as the very rare green tree frog, but also a suitable place to live for the 32 species of dragonflies that frequent the site.
