Near Bugey and the Rhône, on the edge of the Via Rhôna, this natural space contains great biological wealth: green tree frogs, agile frogs, dragonflies, etc.
Pond management therefore aims to maintain and develop these remarkable species. The objective at this site is twofold: to protect and maintain this natural heritage, but also to raise visitor awareness about the importance of preserving our region's wetlands. In Isère, 17 departmental ENS and 129 local ENS participate in the protection of biodiversity. The Sensitive Natural Areas of Isère make up a remarkable conservatory of local natural diversity linked to altitude, the presence of a watercourse, a forest or other major elements for specific fauna and flora.
