What is the tourist tax?

Declarations can be made 7 days a week – 7 hours a day… BUT: nights spent in the past month must be declared before the 15th of the following month.

Payments are to be made every four months on the following dates:

  • before May 31 for the collection period from January 1 to April 30
  • before September 30 for the period from May 1 to August 31
  • before January 31 for the period from September 1 to December 31

The declaration of your overnight stays is made on a dedicated online platform at the Balcons du Dauphiné.
