Since 2019, the Balcons du Dauphiné Tourist Office has enabled the deployment of this label in municipalities located less than 5km from a cycle path (ViaRhôna or Balcons greenway), in partnership with France Cycling Tourism et Isère Attractiveness.
Eligible establishments
Several types of tourist structures can be labeled:
- Classified or labeled accommodation offering overnight accommodation,
- A bicycle rental company,
- A bicycle repairer,
- A restaurant,
- A touristic site.

Services
The conditions for applying for the Accueil Vélo label
To obtain the Accueil Vélo label, your structure must meet all the following conditions:
- Be a partner of the Balcons du Dauphiné Tourist Office,
- For accommodation: be classified or labeled,
- Be located less than 5 kilometers from a cycle route,
- Have a secure bike shelter equipped with a repair kit,
- Love this clientele: have a warm welcome (snack on arrival, discussion about the route, the weather, sound advice),
- Knowing the cycling clientele, knowing how to respond (with a smile) to their expectations and needs by providing dedicated services (in-depth knowledge of the area on the cycling offer, luggage transfer, laundry and drying, etc.).
What is the duration and cost of the Accueil Vélo label?
The label has a validity period of 3 years and will cost you nothing as a partner.
The Balcons du Dauphiné Tourist Office fully manages your support (pre-audit, audit, labeling, promotion towards dedicated media).
The renewal of the label billed at €50 is entirely covered by Isère Attractivité.
