She doesn't like: Narrow-minded people: racists, homophobes and others who are phobic of others. The unbearable images of civilian massacres in wars of domination. Social exclusion, including when going on holiday. That sites and activities are not yet all accessible to people with disabilities. Environmental damage. People who make mouth noises and sniff!
His favorite heritage/cultural site: medieval cities and small villages of character, with golden stones. I really like Saint-Chef, which is really worth the detour. Of course, there is the abbey and its incredible frescoes but a medieval garden, the Teyssier de Savy castle, the museum and authentic alleys. And then the castles! There are some everywhere in the Balcons du Dauphiné: what a joy!
His nature corner: the herb garden in Vertrieu (a marvel!), the ponds for photographing birds.
His gourmet address: I haven't tried everything yet, but the cuisine has to be vegetarian, well-crafted and the welcome has to be warm. I loved the truffle and mushroom risotto at Puits gourmands in Montcarra and the veggie burger at Bistrot des Saveurs in Morestel, for example. Otherwise, in Crémieu, I find a bit of my Brittany at “Lucette fait des crêpes” where the welcome is very nice.
The animation / event that marked him in 2024: the exhibition “l'enfance de l'art” by Mélanie Bourlon in Brangues, the one on Guiguet at the Maison Ravier (and especially listening to Claire and Nathalie) without forgetting, of course, the launch evening of the tourist season and the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire initiative, with the conference by Mr. Assomo, in the magnificent abbey church of Saint-Chef. And more recently, the discovery of the Mépieu ponds with Lo Parvi.

She likes: work in a good mood and laugh because it's good for your health!
She doesn't like: homophobia and cardoons.
His favorite heritage/cultural site: Maison Ravier for the charm of the place but especially for the tours offered. Nathalie helped me understand that the sunsets here are unique. The brightness is really special at Les Balcons.
His nature corner: without hesitation, the wild Rhône and the National Nature Reserve of the French Upper Rhône.
His gourmet address: the Balmolan Market, an unusual place which showcases the local terroir.
The animation / event that marked him in 2024: Louis Bertignac’s concert at the Salle des Marinières in Porcieu-Amblagnieu, the legendary stage of the Balcons du Dauphiné!

He likes: Soccer, cycling, soccer, and more soccer. But above all, it's soccer, and cycling too. Well, we can also add history and travel.
He doesn't like: mushrooms, snakes and people who don't laugh (especially at my jokes).
His favorite heritage/cultural site: Brotel's Eagle's Nest Fortified House. It's an impressive medieval ruin that offers a weekend of historical immersion, including scenery, knight battles, archery workshops, and tours. A true step back in time, and as they often say, "it was better before."
His nature corner: the small village of Vernas with its beautiful houses, its small chapel and its spring.
His gourmet address: La Bellissima in Crémieu (very good milkshake!).

She likes: coffee, chocolate, sun and good humor!
She doesn't like: waking up in the morning, the hairbrush, the cold, the fork grinding on the teeth, the idiots, the hypocrites...
His favorite heritage/cultural site: the old town of Morestel.
His nature corner: the Mépieu ponds nature reserve.
His gourmet address: Elles Lunch Café in Morestel and the P'tit K made in Passins
The animation / event that marked him in 2024: the Creys-Mépieu music festival, the festival of lights and the Morestel Telethon

She likes: cats (especially his own). Evenings with friends to remake the world (and there is work to be done), eating well and drinking red wine. Cinema, reading (especially novels from 19th century French and Russian literature as well as 20th-21st century American literature) with Steinbeck, Truman Capote, Tom Wolfe, Brett Easton Ellis and also Toni Morrison.
She doesn't like: in Miss France mode: war, bad guys, injustice. Otherwise, the experts we see all day long on TV sets (and they are always the same ones) and who comment on themselves. Nettles, hunters (the good and the bad), brains (but not those of canuts), tripe and red meat.
His favorite heritage/cultural site: the city of Crémieu, especially its cloister, like all cloisters elsewhere: everything there is calm and serenity. And the city of Vertrieu: the thrill is to cross the drawbridge of the fortified house or to reread your notes in the garden of Simples before a visit.
His nature corner: the new pond on the Siccieu side and the entire countryside around Soleymieu, Siccieu, Cozance in Trept, etc.
His gourmet address: le Vin de 5 in Crémieu, for their elaborate dishes, the decor of the place and the friendliness of the owners.
The animation / event that marked him in 2024: the launch evening of the tourist season, with the very humanist speech of the director of world heritage at UNESCO.

She likes: Large tables with family or friends with good gourmet dishes and wine. Interior design (breaking everything down to rethink and redecorate everything!). Being outside at the slightest ray of sunshine.
She doesn't like: rain, offal and snakes.
His favorite heritage/cultural site: the village of Vertrieu, on the banks of the Rhône, with its castles, the icehouse, the herb garden, the panorama from the Serverin cross... A real “wow” discovery!
His nature corner: the Sensitive Natural Area of ​​the Lemps pond in Optevoz, for the beauty of the place and childhood memories…
His gourmet address: Auberge de Larina in Annoisin-Chatelans, always excellent! And Vin de 5 in Crémieu, for their crème brûlée (the best I've ever tasted!).
The animation / event that marked him in 2024: The Medieval Festival of Crémieu, the unmissable event of the Balcons!

He likes: laughing (a day without laughing is not worth getting up for), gastronomy, football and beer science in my spare time.
He doesn't like: when things get too serious and non-alcoholic beer.
His favorite heritage/cultural site: Vertrieu, and more specifically the climb to the fortified house from the Jardin des Simples. The ancient medieval city of Quirieu and its ruins are just waiting to be discovered.
His nature corner: the Larina plateau which is worth the climb from the village of Hières-sur-Amby and which offers a remarkable view of the Rhône which winds below, as well as the Bugey massif.
His gourmet address: the Elles Lunch Café, in Morestel.

She likes: my family, horse riding, cycling (without falling), hiking, the forest to recharge my batteries, the piano, to escape!
She doesn't like: mushrooms, bad guys, profiteers, liars... Same for women of course!
His favorite heritage/cultural site: the herb garden in Vertrieu (it's a haven of peace), the medieval tower of Morestel (for the view and the location), the markets of Crémieu and Morestel (for the atmosphere) and of course the abbey church of Saint-Chef (for its architecture).
His nature corner: the ENS, difficult to say which one because I don't know them all yet but I like to walk and admire the fauna, the flora and listen to the silence!
His gourmet address: l'Armoire à couillers in Crémieu, Elles Lunch Café in Morestel, Au Branguignol in Brangues, O Puits Gourmand in Montcarra and Un coin de Paradis in Arandon-Passins for the atmosphere and especially the friendliness of the managers.
