Brasserie du Palais
Located in an old farmhouse less than an hour from Lyon on the Balcons du Dauphiné, the Brasserie du Palais produces top-fermented beers that are neither filtered nor pasteurized, as well as a homemade lemonade that will awaken your taste buds.
The Brasserie du Palais offers a permanent range:
Blonde: This light beer will quench your thirst pleasantly with the sweetness of its malt and the expression of the floral and fruity flavors of the hops and yeast used.
Blanche: This white beer, or wheat beer, will quench your thirst pleasantly with the freshness of its ingredients and its citrus notes. In 2024, it joined the range of beers awarded Gold medals at the Concours International de Lyon.
Amber: This amber beer, with a copper color, gets its taste from its rounded notes of caramelized malts, and is just waiting to be savored.
Ipa'lais: This IPA beer is a tasting beer with a frank but not aggressive bitterness and a bouquet of intense fruity aromas.
Ephemeral beers are also offered (white with fresh mint leaves, smoked, triple, fumalt, enthusiastic, optomn'ale, oh Palais de Noël).
All beers are available in 33cl, 75cl and 20L barrels.
The brewery's commitments:
The Brasserie du Palais uses ingredients from organic farming and as local as possible:
– 3/4 of the Malts are grown in Rhône-Alpes and come from a local and responsible artisanal Malt factory located in Haute-Savoie and the Hops are French and come from the Alsace cooperative.
– 100% of the hops are organic and French from independent hop farms and 2/3 of our hops are grown in Rhône-Alpes.
– Gradual implementation of the deposit system for 75cl bottles by working with “Alpes Consigne”.

It is possible to visit the brewery for groups of up to 30 people on request and by appointment only. A visit/tasting package is offered.
We use ingredients from organic farming and as much as possible local:
100% of our Malts come from cereals grown in Rhône-Alpes and from a local and responsible artisanal malt house located in Haute-Savoie.
Our hops are 100% Rhône-Alpes and come from Isère, Ain and Drôme.
Our 75cl bottles are returnable.
The brewery also offers two ranges of artisanal lemonades:
– a version with a natural lemon flavour, low in sugar, for a truly thirst-quenching drink;
– a second one, blending rose and raspberry, offering sweet, delicate and slightly tangy notes.
Other versions will be added to this new range during the year.
Born from a passion at the end of 2019, the Brasserie du Palais is located in Optevoz in the north of Isère.
The Brasserie is located in an old stone farmhouse, at a place called the Palace.
We offer you deliberately light beers in order to leave plenty of room for the aromatic signature of our ingredients.
