Production of cereals which are transformed into flour, with which we make different kinds of bread, pizzas, brownies, etc. Sale of eggs part of the year
La Ferme de Chalonne is in a dynamic of promoting peasant agriculture, and at the same time, ecologist, solidarity and militant.
In our bakery, with this flour, we make different kinds of bread based on wheat, rye and spelled as well as brioches, brownies, pizzas...
We work for bread, on a very slow fermentation with pure sourdough, which takes the time to reveal all the aromas of the cereals, while ensuring very good digestibility and good preservation of the bread.
The fruit of this work is then cooked in a beautiful wood-fired oven with revolving hearth to obtain its soft crumb, its crispy crust and its good smell of wood...
Educational farm from mid-April to the end of June for schools and training offered (baking experience, stone carving, log furniture, log frame, mental training)
We sell our production by favoring short circuits and direct sales.
These are on the one hand Amap (association for the maintenance of peasant agriculture), in Ambérieu, Crémieu, Sainte-Julie and Lyon,
on the other hand, “Voisins de Panier”, with whom we offer, during a sale on the farm every Thursday from 17 p.m. to 19:30 p.m., a wide variety of excellent farm products.
We also deliver to some organic stores, and/or local producers.
