Église abbatiale de Saint-Chef
Classified as a Historic Monument since 1840, the abbey church of Saint-Chef is a reference work in France in terms of Romanesque art: typical architecture of the XNUMXth century, exceptionally preserved Romano-Byzantine frescoes, medieval decorations.
For the sake of security and extreme conservation, the upper chapel, renowned for holding the most beautiful Romanesque frescoes in the entire Church, is only accessible by guided tour and by reservation, every Sunday from July to October (all year round and on request for groups).
