Eglise de Brangues
The old church was demolished in July 1847 and a new one, built by Mr. Michoud de la Tour, who had become mayor, took office the following week.
The distinctive feature of the Brangues church is undoubtedly its rounded Swabian roof.

The blessing of this new church, took place on November 9, 1847. On the facade are installed the statues of Joan of Arc and Saint Peter, offered by Eugène Berthet, grand-nephew of Antoine Berthet in expiation of sacrilege.
One of the bells comes from the old church and the other was installed in 1860 after major floods. His godfather is Count Geoffroy-Xavier de Virieu, then owner of the Château de Brangues, and his godmother is the Countess of Quinsonnas.
