Fontaines de Brangues

In 1874, twelve fountains existed in the town, with a basin serving as a drinking trough. The engineer of these fountains is Monsieur Brissac.
The water supplying them comes from the town of Arandon.
Today remain those of Brieux, Pavé (two fountains), Martin, Verratière, Charrière, Tours, the public square, the one in front of the Ozéa farm.
Three fountains have disappeared: one in Brieux (in the corner of the wall of the Sottizon garden), that of La Pomatière (location of the lawn at the roundabout between the Merloz and Bertulessi houses), that of the road to Groslée (in front of the farm Ducare).
