At the beginning of the century, while people were still going to fetch water, a network of public or private fountains served the two villages. Two are still in water: that of the place of Vézeronce redone in the years 1960 and that of Charray.
You can see part of the old fountain of Place de Vézeronce in the center of the roundabout. The others serve as flower boxes (Maison Boullier, Couthon, etc.).
