Lavoirs de Brangues
Originally made up of very basic water reservoirs dug near streams, they were called "gabouillons" in the region.
The Brangues wash houses are located in Tours, on the road to Groslée, Reynieu, la Pomatière and le Pavé.
All washhouses are built on the same plan with a roof to protect the washerwomen from bad weather and the sun and to provide lighting, there is never a wall facing the worktop.
