The Marsa mill was probably built in the middle of the 19th century. A graffiti (1865) is traced on the interior coating, on the other hand an accolade with molded support which remains in the left side elevation dates from the 17th Century.
The Marsa press has belonged to the Michut family for generations. It worked during the 1939-1945 war for the production of walnut, rapeseed, sunflower, mustard and hazelnut oil for the inhabitants of Panossas and neighboring villages. This production ceased around 1955-1960.
