Mesure à tissus de Morestel
This large flat stone, engraved with perpendicular lines, is identified as a fabric measure, but it is difficult to determine its precise dating and function.
Installed under the Halle with grain and wine measures and weights, it was probably used as a standard measure in the constant struggle of the authorities against "false measures" before the appearance of the metric system.
