Outside, observe the landscape to understand the geological formation. Then in the quarry let the traces of exploitation speak, from the extraction to the transport of the stone.

The Larina plateau presents many abandoned quarries that have so much to tell us. The geological formation of the plateau gave men the possibility of exploiting this stone. Through this workshop, a reading of the landscape then of the working face and the presentation of the stony tools will allow the students to familiarize themselves with this limestone.
