Une petite expo artistique avec la photographe Mariette Cividino Reynaud
Tuesday May 14 at 09:30 a.m.
Photographer author Mariette Cividino Reynaud exhibits some of her creations. Photos of nature, landscapes, lively and delicate flowers. We don't know, at first glance, whether they are watercolors or photos, but they are indeed photos...
Mariette Cividino Reynaud has been practicing photographic art since a very young age and considers photography to be an extraordinary artistic territory... "We can go far away on an adventure but we can also, in an equally playful way, seek out centers of interest without go far away.
Photographing is an intimate exercise. I am alone behind my viewfinder and I choose to see the world in a certain way. Finding the photo requires patience and work…. Focus on the subject, the foreground, the background, be at the height of the subject or lying on the ground, sometimes with your feet in the water, wait for the light, the moment... Trigger, start again, despair... And then, we feel it, everything is there.
I consider myself a so-called nature photographer but, however, as a lover of images, I give myself carte blanche: urban scenes, photos of landscapes or architecture, built or street spectacles... These are all opportunities to wander the paths, in town or in the forests, in the snow, the storm or the sun, in search of my subject.”
Mariette does everything, from shooting to printing on matte photo paper. Each photo is the subject of a print numbered up to 30 (noted on the back of each photo). It is in no way painting or watercolor.
