Festivals, fairs, but also working the land, crafts... are all subjects addressed by putting humans at the heart of the concerns. Photographer Jean-François Dalle-Rive offers through his photos a poetic vision of rurality.
A graduate of the National School of Photography in Arles and author of several exhibitions, Jean-François Dalle-Rive remains faithful to the black and white film process by artistic choice, for the quality of the aesthetic rendering and the durability of the works. He makes all his prints himself in the laboratory of his workshop in a village in Isère.
