The departure will be in Frontonas, while the arrival will be in Tignieu-Jameyzieu. The route extends over more than 95km with an elevation gain of 1220m!

This first stage at Balcons du Dauphiné, in northern Isère, will begin in Frontonas, then cross the communes of Saint-Marcel-Bel-Accueil, Vénérieu, Salagnon, Sermérieu, Morestel, Courtenay, Optevoz, Annoisin-Chatelans, Siccieu de Siccieu-Saint -Julien-et-Carisieu, Crémieu, Moras, then Vénérieu again, Saint-Marcel-Bel-Accueil and Frontonas, and finally Panossas and Tignieu-Jameyzieu for the finish!
