Based on photos taken in Rhône-Alpes between 1980 and 2023, photographer Jean-François Dalle-Rive offers a poetic vision of rurality.
A graduate of the National School of Photography in Arles and author of several exhibitions, Jean-François Dalle-Rive remains faithful to the black and white film process by artistic choice, for the quality of the aesthetic rendering and the durability of the works. He makes all his prints himself in the laboratory of his house-workshop in a village in Isère.
